When arriving at the Punta Cana International Airport you’ll be greeted by one of two possibilities. The first possibility is to walk off the plane straight into an air-conditioned terminal, Terminal B. This procedure tends to be what most visitors are familiar with. However, the airport has a second terminal, Terminal A, that is a bit different.
Tap water in Punta Cana does not undergo any filtration treatment. However, clean and bottled water is readily available wherever you go. You do not need to drink the tap water since a supply of purified and bottled spring water is provided to tourists in the resorts, and visitors who drank bottled water did not encounter any health problems.
