Although I thought that there’d be a problem when the masseuse almost gave me a wedgie, the relaxation and peacefulness I felt afterwards made all those feelings of discomfort quickly fade away. I only spent half of the day out and about, though I wish now that I had spent even more time there!

Our excursion started with refreshing orange juice before we set out to meet the others in our tour. We took a quick boat ride to a floating dock, where an enthusiastic employee welcomed us and gave us a quick overview of the dock. We could enjoy activities on our own timetable, so we went right to snorkeling. Jeffery, our guide, walked the dock with us and showed us intriguing marine life – fish, reefs, shells. The water was crystal-clear turquoise. As our guide eased our concerns, we got in the water alongside stingrays and sharks. My girlfriend saw how safe it was, and she quickly enjoyed the experience.

We rounded out the time with stand-up paddleboard, another stingray swim and a relaxing massage with shells. My girlfriend, a picky eater with many allergies, raved about the food, everything from chips and salsa to sandwiches. Sweet pineapple too. I didn’t eat, but I did love the pina coladas. We sipped them while lying out on the dock, and they were just as awesome as the ones at our resort. The tour ended with a toast of mama juana, a drink common in the area. The return trip on the boat was as nice as the journey out. Everyone was extremely helpful and so kind. We plan to return every year, if not more frequently. This experience tops our list of favorites!

We chose this excursion when we stayed in Punta Cana, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! I loved the massage; the snorkeling; the swimming with sharks; the kayaking, and the paddle surfing was my favorite! The guided snorkeling tour given by COCO was so fun and relaxing.

So thrilling! The sting rays and the sharks were a bit scary, but we had a wonderful time of it. The tour was very exciting! The massage on the ocean was both relaxing and beautiful scenery, and the Kayaking was too much fun! Loved the coconut drinks as well!

What a perfect day on the reef explorer. I’m not too keen on those strict and organized tours; so the ability to hang-out and get a little sun and enjoy the entertainment was both relaxing and fun. This reef explorer tour was at my leisure, and the island crew was friendly and eager to oblige any activity we chose, and without the need for a group setting. This tour included paddle boarding, snorkeling, kayaking, swimming among the stingrays, and the nurse sharks were my favorite. And, if you wish to only lay-out by the water on the deck (they had many lounge chairs available) or relax on a raft. They also provided four types of massages (last around 20-35min), and they have a yummy snack bar. The bar included bread, lunch meat, cheese, veggie sticks, chips and salsa, and various fruits. They also had delicious non-alcoholic drinks.

This trip was absolutely amazing! You get to snorkel at your own pace in a gorgeous reef, you get to see nurse sharks and stingrays, and even get a relaxing half-hour massage (which takes place on the deck above the water).

What an amazing excursion! Three hours with great people and an awesome crew made this a spectacular trip! They made sure we were taken care of. I even learned lazy snorkeling while I was here. You simply lay on a float, belly-down, with your face (snorkel on!), over the water and watch the marine life…incredible! Kayaking, seeing sharks, the massage…it was all spectacular! The only reason I’m rating it 5 stars is because I think the tour should be longer so you can enjoy more activities.

We took part in the reef explorer excursion while vacationing in Punta Cana. Joel, the tour guide, was very knowledgable about where we should go. He was great and so was the snorkeling. We saw sharks, huge stingrays, and tons of amazing looking fish. We even held a ray for a photo. We were given lots of time to swim, float, snorkel on our own, or just relax. Plus a 15-minute massage was included. It was the best trip we did during our time there!
