Kathy and Tony (the canadian owners) own a little piece of heaven on earth in the Dominican Republic and they like to share it with their customers. The cattle (and sometimes horses) drive, the zip lining, dominican meal (finger licking good) were top notch. Kathy and Tony are very gracious hosts tending to your every need as well as their staff whom are all very friendly and funny. They treated us so good that I felt like we were their first customers ever!

My case was not the usual since I was not able to complete the horseback ride (it was about 1.5 hours from being over) so I stayed at the ranch as the group continued the cattle drive. I was entertained there by Jose’s wife (Jose was our local guide) which was kind of funny because I don’t speak spanish and she didn’t speak english but we somehow connected. She showed me around the ranch, pointing out the local flora and giving me some fresh fruits to try, I got to suck on fresh cocoa beans coating which I had never done before.

I also played with Jose’s son, we had fun making animal sounds in the echo of the tiled bathroom, I can’t remember the last time I laughed so hard being silly. I even got serenaded by Cesar (our driver/painter/talented singer) which I had never been before (hope my husband doesn’t some here to write a review, hahaha!)

Jose was a great guide during our ride, Tony showed his comedic side every chance he got and Kathy is a great hostess. We were treated like family and I say this is a MUST do if you are in Punta Cana.
