Hi,

My hotel ( The Tropical at Lifestyle Holidays Vacation Resort) isn’t listed on the hotel selection option. How would I make sure that I can get picked up there?

My girlfriend and I would like to do the excusing on Sunday the 20th.

Hi Monay,

This tour is completely suitable for snorkeling beginners; a guide will always be in the water with you and Punta Cana waters are not rough and you’ll be wearing a lifejacket at all times in the ocean. The catamaran part of the tour takes you snorkeling and to a shallow part of the ocean referred to as a “natural pool”, in between spots you’ll be lounging, taking in the beautiful scenery and treated to snacks and drinks. You will also visit the “Indigenous Eyes Ecological Reserve” to swim in one of the most amazing spots in all of DR. This lagoon is VERY deep and you can choose not to swim there or ask the guides if you can take a lifejacket with you on this portion of the tour.

Hi, his will be a trip for my bf’s 30 bday and he’s never been to the ocean.
We have zero experience snorkeling, will they teach us? What activities are involved on the catamaran tour?

Pick up time for your hotel is around 7:35 am and the tour starts around 9:00 am. This does not mean you’ll spent from 7:35 to 9:00 on the bus because you have to be at the base of the tour for the excursion briefing before it starts The bus ride to the pier is short (around 15 minutes or so) and then the ride back to your hotel depends on the order you’re dropped off (if you were picked up last you’d most likely be dropped off first and so on). I’ve mapped the distance from your hotel to base camp so you can have a better idea of the distance.

We will be staying at the Bavaro Princess All Suites Resort & Casino what time would I get picked up and out of the 8 hr. excursion how much of that time will be spent on the travel Bus.

Hi Grant, this particular excursion is based in the Rancho Punta Cana, within the facilities of the Punta Cana Resort & Club Hotel so it’s very close to most hotels in the area (as opposed to other tours that take you to a nearby town outside Punta Cana) so time spent in the bus is limited to pick up from your hotel (picking up other passengers) and being dropped off for the excursion. You also get on the bus to get from where you ride the buggies to the marina to board the boat and then back to get to your hotel (and drop other passengers too). The total time you spend on the bus will depend on where your hotel is located and wether you get picked up first/last or dropped off first/last. However, transportation is not a big time consuming part of your day on this tour.

Please note that the 8 hours estimated excursion time is calculated from pick up to drop off at your hotel.
