A fire affected the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Punta Cana today (Wednesday, April 16 2014). Preliminary reports state that the area affected was one of the restaurants in the hotel, the restaurant was named La Isla and was located near the beach area.
The fire was suffocated by the fire department shortly after it began but it apparently caused extensive damage to the restaurant. There were no victims during this incident. Your stay at the Hard Rock should not be affected by this incident beyond the use of this specific restaurant.
